Terms of use

By using Get Indie Apps you agree to what is written here. It is short on purpose. If something is unclear, ask us rather than guessing.

1. Listings

Anyone may submit an app that is publicly available on the App Store or Google Play. By submitting, you confirm you have the right to have it listed here, and you allow us to display its store metadata — name, icon, screenshots, description, category, price and rating — and to link to its store pages.

Listing is free and stays free. We do not guarantee placement, traffic, ranking or how long a listing remains online.

2. What we will remove

We may hide or delete a listing at our discretion, without notice, if it is spam, a duplicate, misleading, no longer available in either store, or infringes somebody's rights. Apps whose primary purpose is illegal, sexually explicit, or built to harass are not accepted.

If a listing is yours and you want it gone, use your private manage link or ask us and we will remove it. We do not charge for removal.

3. Featured placement

Featured is a paid monthly subscription of $29 per month per app, billed through Stripe. It buys a homepage slot and a larger card for the duration of the billing period. It does not affect search results, category listings or ordering anywhere else on the site, and featured entries are labelled.

You can cancel at any time from your manage link. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the placement runs to the end of the period you already paid for. Payments are not refunded after a billing period has started, including part-used periods. If we remove a featured listing for a reason that is our fault, we will refund the unused part of that period.

4. Content and ownership

App names, icons, screenshots and descriptions belong to their respective developers and are reproduced here to describe and link to those apps. The directory pages, design and code are ours. Scraping the site to rebuild it elsewhere is not permitted.

5. No warranty

The site is provided as-is. We do not test, vet or endorse the apps listed, and we are not responsible for what they do, what they charge, or what happens to your data inside them. Store metadata can be out of date; the store page is always the authority.

6. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything connected to this site is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim — which for almost everyone is zero.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
