About Disk Reviewer: Clean Up Space
Disk Reviewer is a calm, review-first cleanup tool for your Mac. It scans your Home folder for the files that quietly eat your storage, then shows you exactly what it found. You decide what goes, and nothing is ever deleted behind your back.
Your files stay on your Mac. Nothing is uploaded or scanned in the cloud. The app sends only anonymous usage counters — which features are used, never file names, paths, or scan results — and you can turn them off in Settings.
What Disk Reviewer looks for:
Smart Scan: a quick, light pass over caches and logs, the safest space to reclaim first. Large Files: the biggest items on your disk, sorted so you can spot what to cut. Similar Photos: look-alike shots, so you keep the best and drop the rest. Developer Junk: Xcode caches, simulators, derived data, and other build leftovers. Applications: review installed apps and the files they leave behind.
Nothing disappears for good. Files you clear go to the Trash, and photos go to your Recently Deleted album in Photos, so you can restore them before they are permanently removed.
A quiet background agent re-checks your disk a few times a day and only speaks up with a notification when there is space worth reviewing. It never removes anything on its own, and you can turn it off anytime.
Built for people who want control, not guesswork. You see every item, you choose, and your safety net is always there.
