About Dear Place — We Were Here
Some words belong to a place.
The street where you played until sunset. The school gate you walked past together. A summit you finally reached today. Dear Place lets you leave a small note where a memory happened.
Find stories nearby Discover notes on the map. Come within 100 metres to read what someone left at that place.
Remember your own journey “May 18. Finally at the top.” A note can be just for remembering your day, too. Revisit the places you marked and read your own notes from anywhere.
Leave a feeling, not your name Sign-in is required, but your identity stays anonymous to other people. Leave up to 10 notes a day, with one note per place each day.
Leave a reply where memories meet Add a reply to a note left by someone who visited the same place.
Keep a place close Save notes to your interest list and get notified when a reply arrives. Find their markers even from far away; other people’s notes can be read within 100 metres.
A wall that feels like you Choose from 8 themes and 7 wall backgrounds, with handwriting and map markers. Share a note as an image and find directions to its place.
Notes are public to people who visit the place, not a private diary. Profanity, threats and other people’s personal information are not allowed. Notes are reviewed before posting and can be reported. Leave digital notes only, never mark real walls. Location is used while the app is in use; background location is not collected. For ages 18 and over. Daily limits reset on Korea time.
Maybe we will meet here again.
